Rise of Entertainment Conference | Spring 2023

Context

Rise of Entertainment Conference 2023 focused on providing the next generation of creative professionals with resources, learning experiences, and networking opportunities. REC23 is young, energized, and eager to foster post-secondary students’ passion for the creative industries, preparing them to leverage their skills in a constantly evolving industry.


As the art director for the conference, I was inspired by the recent rise in traditional printed media. The branding identity of REC23 involved the look and feel of risograph and half-tone prints. Image distortion and collage art is also a big part of the conference's visual look.
